Dear Alumni and Friends,
Merry Christmas & Happy New Year to all. St. Elizabeth students will be
returning to school this Monday following their Christmas vacation. We wish them
a happy and healthy Spring semester.
Our Christmas Shop was a big success as the children were able to shop for special presents for Mom and Dad, without Mom and Dad!
If you shop online, please remember that St. Elizabeth keeps 50 percent of all sales when you shop at www.Innisbrook.com. They offer a wonderful selection of holiday gifts, stationary, wrapping paper, etc.
Plans for class reunions are moving along.
The Class of 1960's Eileen Lynch Parker and three classmates are beginning to make plans for the 50th Anniversary which will be held in October 2010. Place to be decided. Please email Eileen at emp46@optonline.net or Cheryl Westre Rywak @ crywak@gmail.com for more details.
The Class of 1978 will celebrate on April 25th at school. Please email Maritza at mariteach428@optonline.net
The Class of 1980 will celebrate on May 1 with a gathering in the gym and dinner to follow at a local restaurant. Please email Oscar at oherasme@aol.com or Ingrid at icastom@aol.com
Looking ahead to January, if you are in the NYC area, why not join us at a St. Elizabeth School Girls Junior Varsity Basketball game. We play St. Joseph at home on Jan. 5 at 5 pm and again at their school on Jan. 21 at 5 pm. The Boys Junior Varsity play at St. Mark on Jan. 6 at 5:30 pm. Home games are on Jan 19 at 4:30 pm against Epiphany and Jan 20 at Our Lady of Good Counsel at 5 pm. Please check our website at www.steliznyc.org in case there are schedule changes. We would love to see some alumni and friends cheering for our team.
We are making plans for the dedication of the Peace Garden Play Yard in the Spring. Many alumni and friends asked for forms to order commemorative bricks to be placed in the Peace Garden. If you would like to order a brick in honor of a loved one, in your family name, or as a memorial to a deceased relative or friend, please email officedev@steliznyc.org for a form.
