DECEMBER 2008 EMAIL ALUMNI NEWS

Merry Christmas! It seems like it was just Thanksgiving and Christmas is here already. The children have been preparing for their Christmas Sing-Along next week and they are, of course, very excited. Do you remember any special moments from one of your Christmas experiences at St. Elizabeth? We would love to reminisce and share memories of past Christmas seasons!

Thanks to Robert Abreu and Maritza Palacios Tribuzio who arranged a 30th Reunion for their class on December 6th. We would love to know who attended, get some pictures and "hear some stories" from those of you who were there!

We would like to ask for prayers for a few members of our St. Elizabeth family who recently passed away. Paula Dory, Class of ’72 emailed that he sister, Marian Dory, ’69, passed away in October after a long illness. Maritza Palacios Tribuzio‘s mother, Milagros, passed away in June. Many classmates of Maritza remember her mother, as Maritza writes, "she always had a soft spot for all my St. Elizabeth friends."

Many alumni have asked recently for prayers to get through these troubled economic times. Please remember their special intentions.

If any of you are "big cereal eaters" and regularly buy General Mills products, please clip the Box Tops for Education coupon and send it to us. The tiny coupons are worth ten cents each when redeemed. The school can earn thousands of dollars a year and it doesn’t cost you anything more than you already spent! Except the stamp, that is!

Sr. Noreen, Sr. Eileen, and all the faculty, staff and students wish all of our extended St. Elizabeth family a happy, healthy and holy Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Sincerely,

Mary Ann Lynch
