Dear Alumni and Friends,

Happy Easter!  Our students are looking forward to their Easter vacation – and hopefully the true arrival of Spring!

We hope you received Hope in the Heights, our hard-copy newsletter to alumni and friends.   Please update your email address and other current information so we can be sure you are receiving all our mailings.  If you did not receive your copy, please let me know and I will send one out to you.


 

IT’S REUNION TIME!

The Class of 1978 will soon celebrate on Sunday, April 25th beginning with the 12:30 Mass at St. Elizabeth Church. A reception with buffet lunch and music will follow at school.  Sixty-five invitations have been sent out – did every 1978 graduate get one? Please email Maritza Tribuzio at mariteach428@optonline.net

The Class of 1980 will celebrate the following week on May 1 with a gathering in the gym and dinner to follow at a local restaurant. Please make sure we have your correct  email and mailing addresses. You can email Oscar Herasme at oherasme@aol.com or Ingrid Castillo at icastom@aol.com


 

Eileen Parker, Theresa Fenwick and other members of the Class of 1960  are beginning to make plans for their 50th Anniversary which will be held in October 2010.  Please email Eileen at emp46@optonline.net or Cheryl Westre Rywak @ crywak@gmail.com for more details.

IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING REUNIONS:  Many of the chairpersons ask the school for updated addresses, phone numbers, etc.  Please let us know if you DO NOT wish us to give this information.  Also, please be assured that if someone calls the school looking for a “lost alum,” we will nto give our your information without checking with you first.

 

Plans are progressing for the dedication of the Peace Garden Play Yard in late May or early June.  The order  for more commemorative bricks has been sent in. As we formalize the plans, we will let you know.

We are looking for updates on the lives our alumni for the next edition of Hope in the Heights. Please let me know about your careers, families, college life, etc.  We would love to have many items to share.  Thank you to all the alumni who responded last month – we will be putting a column together soon.
