the school year begins to come to a close, we are in awe of the many
blessings we received this past year, many with your help. We ask

Our
Graduation Mass for the Class of 2006 will be held on Friday, June 16 at 9
a.m. in St. Elizabeth Church. All are welcome to attend the Mass and
the Honors Assembly for graduates that follows.

Reunion News
Were
you once the "social director" for you class back in the
eighth grade? Do you long to see old classmates, but are not
really sure how to begin? Planning a class reunion does not have
to be a daunting task. We have compiled a page of helpful
hints for planning a class get-together, from the simple to the very
elaborate. Also, a handful of former St. E reunion
organizers have said that they would be willing to answer questions

Money While You Shop Online
St. Elizabeth School
has partnered with LinkShare.com to establish relationships with a
number of online vendors who will donate a percentage of your purchases
to the school. Stores include Macy's, Target, eToys, NetFlix,
Overstock.com, Enterprise Rental Cars, and many others. You must
enter their site through links on our webpage at http://www.steliznyc.org/shop.asp.
Proceeds will go toward tuition assistance
and operating expenses. If you shop online, you may want to add this
page to your favorites!
Make
a Challenge Gift
Encourage others to support the mission
to which you give so generously. Challenge members of your alumni class,
decade, profession, or other group to match your gift. This can be done
using your name or anonymously, and will be advertised in school
publications, via email, and on the website. Simply add a notation
to your next donation, or contact me at officedev@steliznyc.org
to make a challenge using a recent gift.
More
to Be Proud Of...
About 20 of our students were selected as
"Participating Artists" to exhibit their artwork at Morgan
Stanley Children's Hospital in Washington Heights, along with students
for other New York Archdiocesan Inner-City schools. As a part of
the Creative Classrooms Visual Arts Program, students and parents attended
a reception at the hospital on May 23.
Alumni
Basketball Game
Plans are underway to have an alumni basketball
game in October 2006. Pease email Michael O'Boyle at moboyle@steliznyc.org if
you are interested in this fundraiser for the CYO Basketball Program,
which is such a valuable enrichment program for our students. If
you played "back in the day" and want to relive the
magic and memories at St. E's, please let us know!
