Dear Alumni and Friends,

Happy Thanksgiving to all.  St. Elizabeth students remembered all the members of our school family in their Thanksgiving prayers and join the administration, faculty and staff in wishing you all a happy and holy holiday season.

Please keep in your prayers Adolph Block, the father of Sabina, Class of 1964; Christine, Class of 1966; and Wanda, Class of 1969.  He passed away on October 3, 2009.  Mr. Block was a World War II veteran who served his country proudly.  The St. Elizabeth School family will remember him at First Friday Mass. 

We would like to thank the members of the Class of 1959 for their most generous donation to St. Elizabeth School in honor of their 50^th Anniversary.  Your dedication and support is much appreciated; we again extend an invitation to all alumni to call when you are going to be in the neighborhood and arrange a visit.

The Classes of 1978 and 1980 are about to publish suggested dates for their Spring 2010 reunions. Stay tuned for bulletins from Maritza for 1978, and Ingrid and Oscar for 1980.

Robert Medrano emailed to let us know that the Class of 1988 had a mini-reunion in November.  We hope to have news for the December newsletter.

In the Spring, we will be dedicating the Peace Garden Play Yard.  Many alumni and friends asked for forms to order commemorative bricks to be placed in the Peace Garden. We still have room, so if you would like to order a brick in honor of a loved one, in your family name, or as a memorial to a deceased relative or friend, please email officedev@steliznyc.org for a form.

We would love to have more news to share; please send us some updates on family, friends, careers, etc.  We love to publish all the happenings for our alumni and friends.
