Parents
Explain Their Choice of St. Elizabeth School
January 27, 2007 - This
week is Catholic Schools Week, which celebrates the mission of a Catholic
Education to make a positive difference in our communities and in our world. We
have a number of events planned! Two St. Elizabeth parents will be
speaking at the Masses to discuss why they chose our school for their children.
"My husband Fidel, who is an alum, and I decided that St. Elizabeth's
would be the best school for us and for our daughter, Kaiya, for a couple of
reasons. Our daughter went to the Pre-school at St. Elizabeth's and it just felt
right…the level of attention, nurturing and lessons in academics, as well as
faith are valuable to us. We were very impressed and decided that we wanted to
carry those principles through her primary and middle school education. St.
Elizabeth's has a good reputation for a strong Academic curriculum. They believe
in educating the "whole child" and they do so through their academic
lessons in the classroom, and as well by teaching our children the importance of
becoming responsible human beings in our society. Our family is pleased with the
school and look forward to the years ahead in our daughter's education as part
of the St. Elizabeth's family." - Jennefer Vicioso, mother of Kaiya,
kindergarten
"There are many wonderful things to say about the school's faculty,
staff, curriculum, and physical plant, but first and foremost our top schooling
priority for Laura and Bobby is St. Elizabeth's mission - educating the whole
child, spiritually as well as intellectually and physically. The values of a
Catholic Education are our values - that in an atmosphere of love, trust and
hope our children should learn and grow in their relationship with God and
Christ as they learn and grow in their studies and relationships with teachers,
staff and friends." - Shelly Wolfe, mother of Bobby, prek 3, and Laura,
kindergarten
We encourage you to consider St. Elizabeth School for your child. We will
soon be registering for the 2007-2008 school year.
