May 2003 - The school is blessed to
have a new group of dedicated individuals who will be helping us achieve our
mission while strengthening financial stability. The first Advisory Board
meeting on Thursday, January 16 included an exciting mix of talents and
interests.
Past members Mr. William Jaenike, a member of the class of
1952, and Mr. Michael Marino have returned to work with the new Board.
They will be joined by Mr. Robert Abreu, class of 1978;
Sr. Loretta Carey, RDC; Mr. Bob Diubaldo; Ms. Cathy Magee, class of 1955; and
Mr. Ray Teatum.
Rounding out the Board will be Principal Sr. Noreen Nolan,
OP; Assistant Principal Sr. Eileen Barrow, OP; Pastor Msgr. Gerald Walsh;
Director of Technology Mr. Ed Fener; and Administrative Assistant Mrs. Elvira
Nunez.
Among the group’s goals for the year will be the
recruitment of additional members, incorporation of the After-School Program to
increase grant opportunities, financial management, and fund-raising.
