School Submits Third Year
Middle States
Association Reaccreditation Report
August 2008 - The
St. Elizabeth School community recently completed its Third Year Report, as
required by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools.
The school was originally accredited in 1992 -- one of the
first in the Archdiocese -- following a self-evaluation; hosting an evaluation
team of independently-appointed educators; and the creation of an ongoing
strategic plan.
Accreditation signifies that St. Elizabeth School has met
standards for a quality school, and reflects the best of current research and
practices from throughout the education profession.
Goals to be achieved are: (1) Increased opportunities for gifted and
challenged learners, (2) Utilization and expansion of the library, (3) Upgrading
of school technology, (4) Renovation of the Peace Garden play yard, and (5)
Development strategies to increase enrollment.
