September 2004 - For the eighth year in
a row, St. Elizabeth School has received a New York State Department of
Education Learning Technology Grant. Sharing the $30,000 grant with PS 32 in the
Bronx, students will continue an ongoing project of utilizing robots,
maintaining an aquarium, planting, and projects integrated with our Peace
Garden.
Additionally, the two schools also received a Title IID
Grant for which they will work with the Hudson River Project and other sponsors
for improvement in math, technology, reading, science, literacy and social
studies. They will also mentor seven other schools.
