Eighth
grade students honored Black History Month with an assembly on February 18,
2005. Several students recited Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s "I Have
a Dream Speech," the classes presented a skit reenacting Rosa Parks on the
bus, and students recounted the inventions of African-Americans.
St.
Valentine's Day at the school. The eighth grade organized a bake sale for
Tsunami relief and made $200. Pictures also include the art classes and
the kindergarten's macaroni fish project.
Students
and faculty attended Ash Wednesday Mass on February 9, 2005.
As part of Catholic Schools Week, the faculty joined the CYO boys' and
girls' basketball teams for a friendly game.

The St. Elizabeth community honors academic excellence at the Honors
Assembly on February 3.
On February 4, faculty and administrators from North Manhattan gathered
together at St. Jude School for a conference day. St. Elizabeth Church
pastor Bishop Gerald T. Walsh was honored for his dedication to the schools.
