The Class of 2005 heads out for their Eighth Grade Trip, with visits to
Jekyll & Hyde's restaurant, the Chelsea Piers bowling alley, and the
production of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.
Two students were named Borough Winners at the
2005 Water Conservation Art and Poetry Contest, sponsored by the New York City
Department of Environmental Protection.
April was Poetry Month. Students made "Poem in Your
Pocket" presentations and wrote their own poetry.

Students honored Receptionist Mrs. Savignon and Administrative Assistant
Mrs. De Nunez on Secretaries Day, April 27.
Ms. Simpson's class had a visit from her kitten Tiger
Lily and then watched a streaming video in the Technology Lab about cats.
Students were recognized for their achievements at the Honors Assembly on
April 29, 2005.
