Students and the
rest of the St. Elizabeth community celebrated a Mass on May 31 to honor the
Blessed Virgin Mary. Father Peter Pomposello also blessed the senior pins,
which were distributed to the member of the eighth grade class.
Eighth grade
students attended the Annual Graduation Trip, which included a breakfast in the
Science Center, bowling at Chelsea Piers, the Broadway show Les Miserables, and
dinner at Planet Hollywood.
The art work of a
number of our students was recently displayed at the Morgan Stanley Children's
Hospital of New York-Presbyterian Hospital. The event was part of the
school's participation in the Creative Classrooms Visual Arts Program, sponsored
by the Patrons Program of the Archdiocese of New York. Pictured below
are some of the students, along with Assistant Principal Sr. Eileen Barrow, OP
and Art Teacher Sara Fendelman.

Sixth grade teacher Mr. Jason Borsella recently welcomed his uncle, who is
a police officer, to demonstrate a police dog for the class.
The Annual Faculty-Student Basketball Game was held on Monday, March 26,
with the faculty winning 35-17. For more photos from the basketball

The school was very blessed to receive a donation of 15 computers from the
Siemens Corporation earlier this winter. The computers will be set up and
placed in various classrooms throughout the building.
