SCENES FROM ST. ELIZABETH

2002-2003 School Year

Scenes from our recent Honors Assembly for the first trimester of grades 3-8.  Left, the students, faculty and parents gather in the auditorium to recognize achievement.

Below, students get into the spirit of the holidays with the Thanksgiving food drive (left) and the Christmas Shop (right).

Scenes from the Dedication of our new Peace Garden.
(See story on our News and Events Page.)  Above,
Principal Sr. Noreen greets the guests during the rainy
ceremony, and Pastor Msgr. Walsh blesses the garden and
plaque.  Left, Msgr. Walsh is interviewed by the local news.

Because of rain, we held a more complete ceremony on
Friday, November 15.  Below are (clockwise from top left) the
audience in the courtyard; two fifth grade students reciting
their Peace Poem; Assistant Principal Sr. Eileen Barrow, OP,
accompanied by family members of the victims and by St.
Elizabeth students; and the St. Elizabeth School Chorus.

Principal Sr. Noreen Nolan, O.P. received the 2002-2003 Elizabeth Ann Seton Compassionate Educator’s Award.  (For more details, see the story on our News and Events Page.)  Below, Sr. Noreen receives the award from Cardinal Egan, and is congratulated by (top right) students at a ceremony at the school, (bottom right) the St. Elizabeth faculty, and (bottom left) her father, sister and Assistant Principal Sr. Eileen Barrow, O.P.
