The Earth
Friends gardening faculty meeting, where teachers received in-service for
instructing children about planting and delivery of produce to markets.

Kerry McGrath Egan facilitated a donation of books from the school where her
children attend, Academy of Our Lady in Glen Rock, NJ. As part of the "Books
Across the Bridge" project, St. Elizabeth School will have the opportunity
to set up classroom libraries. AOOL Principal Mrs. Patricia Keeneghan and
former AOOL parent Neil Sullivan were also instrumental in making the event
happen.
Mr. Jason Gies of Global Philanthropy
at J.P. Morgan Chase in Manhattan works with students in Mr. O'Boyle's sixth
grade class. He does Junior Achievement with the students on Friday
mornings, teaching them about business and economics, including trade and
importing/exporting.
