Ways to Give

SPONSOR A STUDENT

INVEST IN A LIFETIME OF LEARNING

Our students come mostly from low income families living in Washington Heights, a high crime area plagued by unemployment, drugs and a diversity of social and economic problems.  While our tuition remains well below the cost to educate a student, many parents still are not able to provide their children with a Catholic school education.

Please take a moment to click the following link and complete a donation form.

SPONSOR A STUDENT FUND

Gifts to this fund of any size are most welcome and most appreciated, as they allow us to reach a large number of families, when they are most in need.  This "emergency fund" is used to assist families who need temporary help or are experiencing some sort of crisis, such as unemployment, illness or a rent increase.

INDIVIDUAL STUDENTS

Some donors prefer to make a gift to sponsor an individual student who requires assistance for the full or half year's tuition.

ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIPS

Endowed scholarships allow the donor to honor a loved one in the scholarship name, as well as make the tradition of a St. Elizabeth education available to all deserving students.   A minimum of $25,000 should be donated to create a named scholarship, and the amount of the scholarship award will vary depending upon the earnings of the fund. Scholarship funds in the amount of $100,000 or more will endow a full scholarship. Please contact the Development Office for more information.

The following scholarships have been established for current students of the school:

John & Mary Kate Donohue Scholarship
John & Agnes McCarten Scholarship
Mary Elizabeth McLaughlin Endowed Scholarship

If you have any questions, please contact the school at officedev@steliznyc.org or call (212) 568-7291.
