ST. ALBERT THE GREAT SCIENCE CENTER

The Science Center was constructed and equipped thanks to the generosity of the Steven A. & Alexandra M. (Garcia '78) Cohen Foundation, Inc., the Endowment for Inner-City Education, the Charles Hayden Foundation, The Betty Barrett and Juanita Bateman Foundation (and Fr. Joseph Sanches '53), and the Beaumont Foundation of America (and William Cullen '70).  The Center, named after St. Albert the Great, a member of the Dominican Order of Preachers and the patron saint of scientists, was dedicated during Catholic Schools Week.

The wall between the two rooms was knocked out, walls were plastered and painted, and cabinets were installed.

  Countertops and sinks were installed.

The flooring was put in.

The finished lab

Students helped put away the science equipment.
